Engaged couples shortlist photographers in minutes — usually on a phone, usually late at night, usually with four other tabs open. In that window your website has exactly one job: show the work quickly and make enquiring effortless.
Most wedding photography websites fail at the second part. The pictures are lovely and the contact form is three clicks away behind a menu.
We design and build websites for wedding photographers — either from one of our ready-made designs in a week or two, or fully custom to your brand.
Five designs you can start from today
These are live, working websites — not screenshots. Open them, scroll them, and use them the way a couple would before you decide.
Each one is responsive, fast, and built gallery-first. We swap the placeholder photography for yours, tune the colours and typefaces to your brand, and wire up an enquiry form that lands in your inbox.
What a wedding photography website actually has to do
Whether you build it yourself or hire someone, these are the things that decide whether a visitor enquires.
Load before they lose interest
Wedding galleries are heavy by nature. Full-resolution JPEGs dropped straight onto a page are the single most common reason a photographer’s site feels slow. Images need resizing, compressing and lazy-loading — and the first screen needs to appear while the rest is still arriving.
Lead with twenty frames, not two thousand
Couples are not auditing your archive. They are deciding whether your eye matches the day they are imagining. A tight, opinionated edit does that faster than a complete one — and it is the hardest thing for most photographers to do to their own work.
Show at least two full weddings
Highlight reels prove you can take good photographs. Full galleries prove you can cover a whole day — the quiet bits, the ugly light in the function room, the grandmother nobody remembered to photograph. That is what a couple is actually buying.
Answer the price question
You do not have to publish a full price list, but a starting figure filters out the enquiries that were never going to convert and reassures the ones that will. “Packages from $2,400” is enough.
Make enquiring possible from anywhere
A contact link in the header, a form at the end of every gallery, and your email address written out in plain text. If someone reaches the bottom of a gallery feeling something, that is the moment — do not send them hunting through a menu for it.
Work properly on a phone
Most first visits are on a phone, often shared between two people on a sofa. Full-bleed images, tappable targets, and a menu that does not cover the photograph you are trying to look at.

Common questions
Do I need my photographs ready before we start?
No. We can design around placeholders and drop your galleries in before launch. It does help to know roughly which weddings you want to feature, because that shapes the gallery structure.
Can you move my existing website?
Yes. We migrate the content and set up redirects so the pages already ranking in Google keep their position instead of turning into 404s.
Who hosts it, and what happens after the first year?
We host it, and the first year of hosting, backups and maintenance is included. After that you can continue with us or take the site elsewhere — it is yours either way.
Can I update it myself?
Yes. Adding a wedding gallery, editing your about page or changing your prices are all things you can do without calling us. We show you how at handover.
Do you do branding as well?
We work with the brand you have — logo, colours, typefaces — and will refine it where it is holding the site back. Full brand identity from scratch is a separate conversation.
How long does it take?
One to two weeks for a personalised site, four to six for a fully custom one. The slowest part is almost always waiting on final image selections, so the earlier you pick your galleries the sooner you launch.
